Mental Maths Workshop
Adults swopped places with the children on Tuesday 15th November when they came back to school in the evening.

Miss Stevens organised and led a very successful workshop on the importance of having a good mental maths ability.  The children from Swallows class demonstrated how quick they were at calculating mentally as they shared and explained the stategies they used.

No parent was put on the spot - much to the relief of some - and the evening was full of fun and laughter.

It was the most well attended workshop we have had this year and Miss Stevens has promised a further workshop on additiona and substration next term.
