Over the Summer holidays I will be releasing weekly stories for your child to listen to and enjoy. Click on the stories below to be directed to the video.
A really big, warm welcome to the children and family of our 2021 starters! Hopefully you should have all received your Robin activity packs which are full of bizarre things that we will be using over the coming weeks in our craft activities.
Each Friday we will be posting a new video onto our school YouTube channel. This can only be accessed here. Each week will have a theme.
Week 1 is getting to know me (Mrs Taylor) and Robins' classroom. I have also added a favourite story of mine this week; Hector and the big, bad knight.
Week 2 is based on Jasper's Beanstalk. For the week 2 craft you will need your cup, cotton wool and magic bean!
Week 3 is based on the short story Hippo wears a hat. For the week 3 craft you will need your paper plate and some of the collage and decorative materials from inside your activity pack. Please leave some for future weeks. After the craft activity is a reading of The smartest giant in town by Julia Donaldson.
This week's video is based on The Rainbow Fish, a story about the joy that can come from sharing. I hope you enjoy it!
Week 5 is butterfly week! With warmer and drier weather upon us, let's hope we can use our butterfly ID sheet on some sunny walks and spot some butterflies!
Week 6 is our final crafting video and it is based on one of my favourite stories; Room on the Broom! Over the Summer I shall upload more story videos so continue to check back here on a Friday to see more stories with Mrs Taylor.
If you have any questions, please get in contact with us via the school office.
